How much wall do you need?
Whenever we speak to our clients and professional planners, there a certain kinds of requests that come up again and again:
- Accessibility: zero-threshold transitions as a general premise
- Flexibility when organising spaces and areas – and in terms of opening up boundaries and zoning
- Efficient solutions for extending space – e.g. into outdoor areas in order to create areas for living or special functions
- Transparency and ease of access to fresh air as sources of psycho-social added value, and as an expression of respect Solarlux offers a wide range of options for catering to these needs, which can actively enhance the value and functionality of a wide range of construction concepts.
Our portfolio includes everything from double-skin facade concepts with all-glass elements that can be used to open up walls or provide sound insulation and protection from the elements to flexible folding and sliding glass doors to help divide and organise rooms, and even effective extensions flooded with light in the form of wintergardens and glass canopies. All our systems come with benefits for the implementation process thanks to their high degree of pre-fabrication, and are suitable for use in both new builds and existing properties. On top of this Solarlux’s in-house Project Planning and Installation teams will make sure everything runs smoothly according to your schedule.
Creating healthy spaces with the concepts of Renson
Create a comfortable and healthy indoor climate. This is the mission of the Belgian family company Renson for over 110 years. With ventilation, sun protection and outdoor living products for more well-being. The "Renson Story" presents overall concepts that are characterized by innovation, the highest design standards and sustainability.
Extending the building concept with sliding windows
Today, sliding windows can be used in a target groupspecific way. The influencing factors on the building concept must be taken into consideration. This involves the user, living comfort and cosiness. But also solutions for modern architecture. Sliding windows are an essential factor for living space quality and emotions. Perfectly coordinated solutions for hardware technology and window automation, including networking and home automation, are already available today.
arimeo - ventilation made easy
Normatively, there is an obligation for user-independent moisture protection ventilation. The minimum requirement of DIN 1946-6 can be easily met with arimeo window rebate ventilators. The hardware-independent arimeo window rebate ventilator provides a simple solution to the complex requirements. Thanks to its 3K-flow-joint technology, arimeo is very easy to integrate into window production and planners are happy to rely on the fully ift-tested product!
Magnetic zero thresholds from ALUMAT - the proven solution for young and old
The normative and legal requirements according to DIN 18040 for the structural accessibility of doors are explained, as well as the mandated properties that must be named in the CE mark. The functioning of the Alumat zero threshold as well as the tested top values in terms of airtightness, tightness against driving rain, thermal insulation, sound insulation and burglary protection are presented.
Intelligent window ventilation
Specific supply of fresh air is an absolute must for your well being and our performance. The convenient and energy-saving alternative to maximum ventilation for a short time is called "I-tec ventilation" and comes from Internorm. This is a ventilation system completely integrated into the window. The fan housing is located on the side in the frame profile – only narrow ventilation grilles can be seen on the outside and inside of the window. The "I-tec fan" is conveniently operated via a control unit mounted in the window frame.
Impulses for climate protection with windows and facades
The lecture will cover the current situation of climate protection legislation. What measures are required by politics: regulatory law, promotion, advice. What solutions to climate protection can bring windows and doors as dynamic building components of the outer shell.
Not the lowest U-value is the best for the window - Who says "U", must also say "g"!
The heating need of a building depends on its actual heat loss (caused by ventilation and transmission) which should be compensated by thermal heat flow in order to reach a pre-defined temperature in all rooms. In buildings with high thermal insulation level ("efficient houses"), transparent construction components create solar heat gains that contribute notably to reducing the overall heating need. The lecture gives an idea on how to replace the established U-value and HT-value with more suitable evaluation criteria which also consider the use of solar heat. In this context the B-value for windows and transparent building components is discussed as well as the Ht,s-value and the heating need before iteration Qh,b,0.
Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility - Ecology and Economy. Set-Up of closed loop systems in the building sector.
The lecture illustrates the history of aluminium - from its invention, on to its first commercial use and the following industrial production, up to today's areas of aluminium application. It informs about volume developments, the recycling capability of aluminium and its energy consumption (primary and secondary aluminium / recycling process). Another important topic is the Carbon Footprint of the aluminium production. It is highlighted how urban warehouses can be used as resource deposits, and how scrap alumium of the window and facade sector can be integrated into a closed loop system for an endless re-use of the material. The A|U|F e.V. also presents its tasks, targets and added value of a membership, also from a political point of view.
Presentation of the new installation guide for curtain walls 2022
The Guide to the Installation of Curtain Walling - Planning and Execution of the Installation for New Construction and Renovation, published by RAL-Gütegemeinschaft Fenster, Fassaden und Haustüren e.V., Frankfurt am Main, is now in its second edition since 2017. It supplements the Guide to the Planning and Execution of the Installation of Windows and Front Doors for New Construction and Renovation and shows both the recognised rules of technology and the state of the art in terms of installation. During the lecture, the main changes and innovations of the new edition will be presented on the topics of general and special requirements, planning tasks, building physics requirements, anchoring and load transfer, sealing as well as practical execution with examples of execution.
RAL: Quality Mark of trust: Added value for the end consumer
Consumer protection organisations recommend them as an aid to purchasing decisions, they serve as award criteria in public tenders and companies demonstrate their competence with their help: RAL Gütezeichen (quality marks) set standards in the flood of labels. Behind this stands the unique system of RAL quality assurance.
